some might say vanessa beecroft has lost the plot but I think that this is it. POP art this century. whoever knows vanessa's work will recognize many references from her performances. she also manages to import a raf simons-like red story ...the best in the west!

I remember meeting Vanessa in Sicily with her beautiful kids ....
while organizing a performance. she turned my wife dobrochna in a statue...loved her.
love the fact that she's interpreting contemporary arts with no boundaries and no prejudices to say the least.
Infact I reckon beecroft/west wins 7-1 against the utter boredom and pretentiousness of bjork/barney drawing restraint of few years ago and let me also say that we should be proud of this girl from genova conquering the world with such an attitude and class.
