Some might say the Arcade Fire have reached their peak. Well, the gig yesterday in Milan was nothing less than contagious. The band is powerful, engaging, emotional and fresh. The art direction of the show quite intriguing and the film by spike jonze is outstanding. Like it or not, this band has managed to mix folk, post-punk, anthem rock, glam rock ALL merging in what it is the ultimate indie rock experience.
Milan reacted phenomenally, just like in May 2005. It was only 6 years ago....it seems much longer..
The Arcade Fire is Burning inside while Win (he loves lasagna, he said at the end) and Regine are the best possible father and mother of so many loving indie kids...Ciao!
